SAP Fiori/UI5/BTP Developer

Responsibilities

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP Fiori/UI5 & BTP developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining SAP Fiori applications, SAPUI5 applications, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) extensions. This role requires expertise in front-end development, integration with SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP services, and the ability to design scalable solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Develop and enhance SAP Fiori/UI5 applications using SAPUI5, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
  • Design and implement SAP BTP Extension Suite solutions, including Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), SAP Business Application Studio, SAPWebIDE.
  • Integrate SAP Fiori applications with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Gateway, and OData services.
  • Ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability of Fiori applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in SAPUI5 and BTP extensions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend developers, SAP consultants, and business stakeholders.
  • Follow SAP Fiori design guidelines and best practices for UI/UX consistency.
  • Maintain and update technical documentation and user guides.\\
  • Build applications using SAP BTP services including CAP (Cloud Application Programming model), XSUAA, Destination services, and SAP HANA Cloud.
  • Experience with SAP Build Work Zone.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Expertise

  • Proficiency in SAPUI5, JavaScript, XML, HTML5, CSS, and REST APIs.
  • Knowledge of SAP BTP Extension Suite and CAP framework.
  • Experience with SAP Gateway, OData, and SAP S/4HANA integration.
  • Familiarity with SAP Business Application Studio and SAP Web IDE.
  • Understanding of SAP Fiori Elements and Smart Controls.
  • Nice to have if exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD, and Git repositories.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Education & Certifications
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • SAP certification in SAP Fiori/UI5 or SAP UI5 is a plus.
